Hey there! I’m Emma and my sewing journey began many years ago, which has now developed into something only God could have worked out!

I like to say my love for sewing started while I was still in the womb….My mother has told me of how she would work late nights sewing while pregnant with me and in particular, the night she went into labor with me☺️

While I like to believe that to be the true beginning, my first actual sewing experience was with my late grandmother, who taught me my first stitches when I was only 6 years old! I would also watch my mother make matching mother/daughter dresses to sell, and began to understand and appreciate what it means to work hard with the skills God gives us.

As I grew older, the skill for sewing began to develop and I eventually worked alongside my mother in her sewing business. I enjoyed learning new ways to create beautiful items and stretching my abilities to do more than I thought possible!

Eventually I married, and moved to Mount Pleasant, SC. While living there, I have been able to offer quality, personalized sewing services to the Charleston communities…all while raising 2 young boys and going through a sad and difficult separation from my husband.

Even through this hard season, I feel blessed to be able to work from home and also be present for my boys as I care for and homeschool them!

Life doesn’t always go the way we expect, but through it all, I am thankful to God for the strength He gives me to press on! I also appreciate each and every one of my clients who have helped mold me and this business into what it is today!
